What do 19, 28 and 36 ILD mean?
ILD stands for Indentation Load Deflection, a measure of how firm or soft the latex feels.
- 19 ILD = softer, with more cushioning
- 28 ILD = medium, balancing cushioning and support
- 36 ILD = firmer, with less give
Higher ILD numbers indicate a firmer feel.
Can I request a different ILD?
Yes. Our standard Talalay Latex Topper options are 19 ILD Soft, 28 ILD Medium, and 36 ILD Firm. If you prefer a different Talalay ILD, call CST or enter your requested ILD in the order notes at checkout.
